💫How we started
We started JOGIA in a tiny studio shared by three women, two dogs, and two cats — all rescues, all family.
We’ve always believed that adopted animals deserve the same love, sparkle, and celebration as any others.
So we began making bright, colorful accessories for our furry companions — just to make them feel loved, and to bring a little joy into our daily walks.
Soon, our neighbors started asking, “Where did you get that?”
And that’s when it clicked: maybe the joy we found in beading, creating, and walking with color… was something worth sharing.
Oh, and if you’re wondering — the name JOGIA comes from JOYCE (English) and GIOIA (Italian), both meaning “joy.”
That’s our whole thing: joy, color, love, and a little sparkle.

JOGIA Through the Years
2023 – The Spark
We started by making beaded collars just for our own pets — two adopted pups and two very curious cats who quickly became our muses, our models, and our quality control crew.People loved them. But honestly, We had no idea how to run a shop. Yet.
Fall 2023 – From Kitchen Table to Tiny Shop
Friends started asking to buy them. Then strangers.So we opened a tiny online shop, handmade every piece, and fulfilled each order from our kitchen table — all while juggling day jobs.We made plenty of mistakes (like wildly underestimating how long hand-knotting beads actually takes 😅), but we kept going.
Spring 2024 – Going All In
In early 2024, we decided to take a leap.
We brought in a few amazing women from our local community — some of whom were out of work — and taught them our beading techniques.
That’s when the studio truly came to life: more hands, more laughter, and more tails wagging than ever.
2025 to Today
JOGIA is more than a brand
Now, JOGIA is not just our full-time work — it’s our full-time love.
We’re still 100% women-led, proudly LGBTQ+ friendly, and committed to giving back.
We donate 10% of all income to animal rescue organizations and women’s support programs, so that joy doesn’t just stay with us — it moves forward.
We may be small, but we believe in creating big joy — for pets, for people, and for everyone who believes in walking with color. 🌈
